Groupon.com takes digital advertising to new places March 8, 2011

You may have heard about Groupon.com by now. The site offers local daily deals to discount lovers and has grown very, very quickly. It now has over tens of millions of subscribers, and has passed up on a $6 billion buyout offer from Google. Groupon has received major investments over the last year, and is expanding in several markets. In essence, it has changed advertising and local shopping in such a short period of time, and proves that the possibilities of digital media are endless.
