Jennifer Aniston’s SmartWater ad makes her new queen of viral videos March 19, 2011

SmartWater’s online advertisement starring Jennifer Aniston went viral as expected, with 7.5 million views in just one week in the middle of March 2011. SmartWater’s ad, called “Jennifer Aniston Sex Tape” is a humorous acknowledgment of what it takes to attract internet viewers and features many familiar faces in the world of viral videos. It is not the only ad to tap into YouTube culture, but it has certainly been very successful in such a short period of time.
