Election 2012: Records suggest SuperPACs benefit Republicans July 25, 2012

When President Obama begged his supporters for more money at the beginning of July 2012, it became obvious that Democrats have a problem – superPACs are benefiting Republicans big-time. Major conservative superPACs Crossroads GPS and Restore Our Future are expecting to raise a total of $400 million, and brothers Charles and David Koch have already pledged $400 million to Republican candidates. The statistics so far released on superPACs are not encouraging for Dems, indicating that they have been outpaced 3 to 1 in superPAC funding.
