Hollywood producer Tony Thomas, son of St. Jude’s Hospital founder Danny Thomas, had a good idea to celebrate the charity’s 50th anniversary: create a campaign based on “Hey, Jude” by The Beatles and recruit as many celebrities as possible to appear in a major ad. So, like that, Thomas ran around the country asking for help. He recruited Keith Urban, Robin Williams, Jennifer Aniston, Michael Jordan, and many others.

As predicted, the ad campaign has been a tremendous success. The ad was viewed on YouTube more than 300,000 times within days, and the organization raised hundreds of thousands of dollars in donations.
